Childress Elementary - Recognized

On August 30th, the Texas Education Agency announced that Childress Elementary was awarded a "Recognized" rating. To achieve the Recognized rating, the scores must be 75% or above in Reading, Writing, Math and Science and in each of the student groups. (White, Hispanic, African American and Economically Disadvantaged)
Childress Elementary is an excellent school and we would like to congratulate the students, staff and parents for this accomplishment. Everyone worked very hard all year to achieve this goal. We are looking forward to a successful and rewarding 2009-2010 school year.
