I am in my 5th year as Principal of Childress Junior High School and my 20th year in education. Seventeen of those years have been in the Childress Independent School District. I graduated from Estelline High School. I completed my Bachelor of Science in secondary education from Texas Tech University. I later attended West Texas A&M University to complete my elementary education certification and my Masters of Education-Administration.
My husband is employed with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. I have two children and two grandchildren. Erica and her daughter, Carly, live in Lubbock. Blake lives in Wichita Falls; his daughter, Harlie, lives in Childress,
