- Graduated from Paducah High School in 1988.
- Graduated from West Texas A&M University with Bachelor's of Science in 1991.
- Graduated from WTA&MU with Master's of Science in 2003.
- Certified to teach secondary sciences (8-12) including Biology, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Chemistry, Physics and Earth Sciences.
- Married to Chad Piper since 1993. Mother to Cord (boy) and Aidan (girl) twins - 21 months old.
- We recently moved from Amarillo back to my hometown of Paducah, TX.
- I began teaching middle school science in Abilene (1992-1994), I then moved to Amarillo and taught middle school science from 1994-2004. I taught high school Biology from 2004-2006.
- I am currently teaching Integrated Physics and Chemistry (IPC), Chemistry, Human Anatomy and Physiology (senior level and dual credit through Clarendon College) at Childress High School.

It
is my desire to communicate that love to my students. I want
my students to have an understanding of and be informed about the
world around them so that they will be able to make educated
decisions about issues that will affect them and us in the
future.
