Hello,
I am Kelly Bailey and I teach U.S. History (11th Grade) and dual credit U.S. History. I have a passion for history and a love for the classroom. In my classroom, we sometimes end up in the trenches of World War I or dancing the 1920s Charleston. What ever we are doing, I hope that my students are seeing that history is real and relevant to their lives. I am excited about the new Apple computers and all the wonderful activities we will incorporate into the classroom. It is an exciting year at Childress High School.
I am married to Randal Bailey and we have a daughter named Ashley. She is a sophomore in college and pursuing a degree in human sciences. Randal and I co-teach a college age Sunday school class and are involved in other activities of the church. I enjoy working in the yard and spending time with friends and family. I love to travel and bring back to the classroom what I learn and discover on my trips.
