About Your Teacher

Welcome to Kindergarten at Childress Elementary. I am so excited to be teaching children in their first experience with school. I feel that kindergarten is a very important year in a child's life. So many skills are learned in their first year of school and I love teaching those skills and watching the growth throughout the year both academically and socially.
My
name is Paige Steed and this is my fifth year to teach kindergarten at
Childress Elementary. I spent three years at Texas Tech
University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in
Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas.
I have a minor in math and a specialization in reading.
I am married to Chuck Steed, and we have two daughters,
Payton (9) and Ansley Gayge (5).
