Introduction to First Grade

Dear
Friends,
In my class, I strive to prepare your child for future success. One
of those many successes will be reading. We work very hard in 1st
grade to teach reading and writing. One of my favorite hobbies is
reading, and I want every one of my students to find a love of
reading. Only by working together can we achieve success. Please
feel free to come and visit at any time. My conference time
this year is from 9:40-10:25.
Along with reading, we will have math lessons and homework every
night. We will be learning about the amazing world around us by
themes in science and social studies. Come and enjoy visiting our
room at any time.
I am looking forward to meeting each of you. I can't wait to start
a new and exciting year.
