Watch Out For Alligators!

October 14, 2007

My fifth grade science classes are using the scientific method to explore and make predictions.  We are also reviewing our graphing skills by watching alligators grow!  We started with a small rubber-like alligator that when put in

water grows in length and mass.

The students are taking  measurements of length and mass every day and will then graph their results.

It is exciting to see whose alligator grew the most overnight.  Stay tuned for further developments on our growing alligators!
