About Me
October 22, 2007
I grew up in the small community of O'Donnell, Texas with my parents, three brothers and one sister. I enjoyed going to school at O'Donnell. That educational experience was a big influence when I decided to become a teacher.
After high school, I went on to Angelo State University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with teaching certifications in Physical Education and Life/Earth Science. Since then I have also been certified in Elementary Education and Special Education. I completed my Master's Degree at West Texas A & M University in 2005.
My past teaching assignments include middle school science classes, girls athletics, 4th grade, special education, elementary P.E. and now, Early Childhood. I have been fortunate to teach in Lamesa, Frenship, and Childress.
Our family includes my husband, Cliff, and our daughters, Sarah and Brittany. Cliff teaches vocational classes at Childress High School and is a licensed minister. Sarah is a 7th grade volleyball and band student at Childress Jr. High School and Brittany is a first grade pianist and gymnast at Childress Elementary.
We have enjoyed living in Childress since 1991. The friendly people and small town activities make this a nice place to live and raise a family.
