BOBCAT CHALLENGE

Over the past few months the 2nd-5th graders at Childress Elementary have been participating in the "Bobcat Challenge' The Bobcat Challenge is a fitness test that measures students upper body strength, abdominal strength, flexibility, quickness, and endurance. Each student performs a number of exercises trying to meet a national standard set by the US government (www.presidentschallenge.org). Students who pass all five different categories are awarded a shirt for their accomplishment.
