About Me
August 30, 2009
I was born in Fort Worth but grew up in Childress and graduated from Childress High School in 1988. After four years at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma where I earned a BS in Education in 1992 and one year teaching at Burkburnett High School in Burkburnett, Texas, I returned to Childress where I have taught at Childress High School for 16 years. My wife, Melissa, teaches art here at CHS and we have three sons Andy, Alex and Aric. I also serve as the District Testing Coordinator for Childress ISD.
My family worships at the Childress Church of Christ and we are active with the Childress County 4-H program. I am proud to call Childress my home and I thoroughly enjoy my position with CISD. I know how lucky we are in this district to have access to the latest technology and I wouldn't want to work or raise my children anywhere else.
