Grading Policy

Algebra 2 Grading
I incorporate a point system in my grading. Each six weeks period we will have approximately 10-15 daily assignments that are worth 10 points each, 4-5 quizzes that are worth 30 points each, and 2-3 tests that are worth 100 points each.
The students final grade for each six weeks will be calculated as a percentage of the total points possible for that six weeks. For example, if a student earns 379 points and there were 440 points possible during a six-weeks period then the grade will be an 86 because the student earned 86% of the possible points.
