Mr. Evans

CHS BAND

CHS Band brings home a l division rating in sight reading.

Childress High School band is led by Mel Evans and Gene Currie.  Mr. Evans told his 7th period band class that if they received all l's on stage and sight-reading, he would let the seniors buzz his hair. CHS students brought back a rating of l in only sight reading.

Instead of a complete buzz Mr. Evans let CHS Seniors LeAnne Boggess and Leif Moss shave his hair.
