2007 Chopper Project

Our two hour Building Trades Program this year will begin to complete OSHA-10 safety certification.  We are also going to seek funding for Deer Blinds for disabled children hunting camp in Ok. We will begin with safety, drafting, blueprint reading, estimating building costs, foundations, framing walls and roofs, exterior finish,

Our two hour Automotive II this year is building a soft-tail version of last years chopper.  100 cubic inch Rev-Tech V-Twin, six speed Rev-Tech over drive transmission, 7 degree rake, 4 inch stretch with a 250 series rear tire. This bike will be for sale in an open bid later this Spring.  In addition we are working on some off-road vehicles and learning to TIG weld tubing and completing our covered trailer to take projects to shows. We hope to complete the Biker Bar-B Q pit for the boys in Altus, OK.

Automotive I class is going to install a 400 cubic small block engine in the 1934 Ford Truck, patch panels for the doors, build a three core radiator and begin body work on our Hot Rod. We will try to have Danny's Transmissions to help rebuild an automatic transmission...... Also we will be looking at brakes, charging systems, cooling systems, basic engine, basic electrical, and hydraulic systems.

We will also be building our 302 Ford engine for future a future project. 

The freshman classes will be building various projects through out the year including baseball bats, and this year we will begin larger boats.......
