CHS Student Compete at UIL!

District Academic UIL Contest was held in Lockney, March 25 and 26. Those participating were Patrick Casey, Carli Cope, Conor Cope, April Carroll, Chance Cozart, Jennifer Early, Monica Galindo, Bianca Garcia, Lindsey Garrett, Rachel Hadfield, Allix Hardin, Logan Hayes, Bo Helm, Chlo Inman, Andrew Kelley, Jorge Lepe, Courtney Lewis, Kat Loter, Brice McDonald, Alex Martinez, Laci Mithlo, Matraca Moore, Sarah Nippert, Matthew Olson, Vicky Ortiz, Eryka Ragsdale, Allie Richards, Maria Salazar, April Shaeffer, Ashley Scott, Shane Statham, Marcy Thorn, Ruben Villegas, Reid Ware.
Those placing were:
Bo Helm: 6th in Accounting
Marcy Thorn: 6th in Headline. She made it to the finals in Persuasive Speaking and placed 5th.
April Carroll: Made it to the finals in Poetry and placed 6th.
Courtney Lewis: 5th in Ready Writing
