Welcome Back
Childress High School
Assistant Principal
We are excited about this school year here at Childress High School. With the new laptops, fall activities, and PRIDE programs, this year looks to be a great and exciting time to be a Bobcat.
This year there will be some minor changes to the tutorial procedures and to the lunch period. Freshman will have a closed campus this year. The only way that freshman can eat off campus is by a parent or guardian signing them out in the front office. Proper sign out procedures will be strictly enforced.
The tutorial procedures have changed from years past as the tutorials will be handled before school or after school. The teachers will be responsible for listing and posting their own tutorials. Failure to attend a particular teacher's tutorial period will result in disciplinary action.
D-halls will be served during the entire lunch period. D-halls are still assigned for every tardy.
It is our goal here at Childress High School that our attendance rates improve. If a student is not able to attend school, please call the office and let the administrative staff know; otherwise they will call you.
We are proud of our students and our high school. With the one-to-one laptops, falls sports, band, and other activities, Childress High School students have no reason not to be excited about this school year. We are all looking forward to a great year. GO BOBCATS!
