100% of Childress Junior High students participate in athletics or PE and use athletics facilities, while 75% of Childress High School students participate in athletics and use athletics facilities.

If approved by voters, Proposition C would authorize the Childress ISD Board of Trustees to sell bonds in the future for a $9.1 million new athletics field house, only if taxable assessed value increases enough to issue the debt while maintaining the district’s current tax rate.
