Congratulations to several band students for their wonderful performances at the Region 1 UIL Solo/Ensemble contest in Canyon. They represented our community with honor and distinction. The students are as follows:
K'Lynn Petty received a Division 1 (Superior) Rating on her Flute solo
Hannah Brown received a Division 3 (Good) Rating on her Clarinet solo
Abby Cano received a Division 1 (Superior) Rating on her Alto Sax solo
Conner Keys received a Division 2 (Excellent) Rating on his Trumpet solo
Benji Downey received a Division 1 (Superior) Rating on his Baritone solo
Jace Keys received a Division 1 (Superior) Rating on his Timpani solo
Kaitlyn Medley received a Division 2 (Superior) Rating on her Mallet Solo
We also had a small ensemble
Dakota Lamb, Conner Keys, and Ryder Carroll received a Division 3 (Good) Rating on their Trumpet Trio
