This week, the Childress ISD Citizens Advisory Committee held its fifth and final meeting, where members reviewed information from Hilltop Securities and Parkhill. They deliberated on the options and finalized a recommendation to present to the board of trustees during the July board meeting.

IMPORTANT GRADUATION UPDATE:
Due to inclement weather, and after consulting with the National Weather Service, graduation will be held on Friday, May 22, 8:00pm, at the Childress High School big gym, instead of Fair Park Stadium. Doors will open at 7:00pm. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding, as we work to ensure the safety and comfort of our graduates, families, and friends.

**Attention, all graduating senior and escorts: Graduation practice has been changed to 1:00 Friday, instead of 10:00.**

Childress ISD will host public tours of the Childress Junior High School campus on Tuesday, June 2, at 6:30 pm. You are invited to join us for a first-hand look at this facility.

The football stadium will be closed on Friday, May 22, in preparation for graduation. The gates will open at 7:00pm, and graduation will begin at 8:00pm. We are so excited to celebrate our 2026 Childress High School graduates!

You are welcome to eat your meal at the cafeteria or pick it up to-go. Friday meals will be sent home with kids on Thursday. Additional parent meals are available for $5. We look forward to serving you!
