Various routine, required safety drills are scheduled to be completed at Childress Elementary School on November 7, December 2, December 9, 2024, and January 21, February 11, and March 27, 2025. Upcoming dates for Childress Junior High School are December 6, 2024, and January 10, February 6, and March 27, 2025. Childress High School dates are December 3, 2024, and January 9, January 13, and April 9, 2025. Edited to change fire drills at CJHS to 1/14/25 and CHS to 1/16/25, due to inclement weather.

The Childress High School Drama Club is excited to present their public performance of Rue this Sunday, March 2, at 5:00 pm, at the CJHS Auditorium! Admission is $5.
Good luck to the Bobcats as they face City View tonight in the Regional Semi-Final at Vernon High School! Send-off will be at 4:30pm at Justin Boots, and the game is at 8:00pm. Tickets are available at https://www.vernonisd.org/page/ticket-purchases. Adults are $5, and students are $3. **No cash at the door.**

Regular bus service will resume this afternoon.
Childress ISD will have a regular dismissal time this afternoon. Buses WILL NOT run this afternoon OR Wednesday morning. Classes will start at 10am on Wednesday.
CISD will have a regular dismissal time on Tuesday, February 18. The City of Childress has closed the downtown underpass. Buses will not run this afternoon or Wednesday morning, February 19. Classes will begin at 10 am on Wednesday, February 19.
