Due to a recent increase in COVID positive cases, students who have signed up for a physical today or tomorrow will be screened at the door of the clinic and asked to remain in their car until they are called for their physical. Masks will be required. Thank you!
We are canceling JH workouts this morning due to lightening.
If unable to participate in physicals on July 13/14, students must pick up the required paperwork at Central Office (308 3rd St NW) and contact Fox Clinic directly to set up an appointment for a physical before participation in Athletics or High School Band in August.
CISD partnered with Fox Clinic to offer FREE physicals to ALL incoming 7th-12th graders and the High School Band on July 13 and 14. Students must sign up in-person at Central Office (308 3rd St NW) for the date they will attend. Central Office Hrs are Mon-Th 8:00-3:00.

The Pfizer COVID vaccine is now available Nationwide for children age 12-18. Childress Regional Medical Center and Fox Rural Health Clinic do not currently have Pfizer COVID vaccines available but we are trying to determine the number of children in this age group (12-18) whose parents are interested in them receiving the Pfizer vaccine. The Pfizer COVID vaccine is a 2 dose series administered 3 weeks apart. Based on the survey and feedback, Fox Rural Health Clinic will place an order for Pfizer vaccines to administer to children age 12-18. Summer workouts begin May 31st. HS will attend 7am-9am (Workouts/Skills). HS workouts will be Monday - Friday weekly. JH will attend 8am-10am(Workouts/Skills). JH workouts are Monday - Thursday weekly. Off Weeks: June 28th-July 2nd and July 26th-July30th.
The administrators of Childress ISD would like to congratulate all students, parents, teachers, and staff on the completion of a challenging year. We hope that you will take time to relax this summer so you will be prepared to return to school in August. Childress ISD will not allow remote learning for the 2021-2022 school year unless a student falls into one of the following categories:
1. Students who have been quarantined due to close contact exposure. 2. Students who have received a positive test result for COVID-19.

The Baccalaureate Ceremony for seniors will be on Wednesday, May 19 at 7pm in the CHS Gym. We are changing the location to allow more seating.
