Families of bus students--Please allow an extra approximately 15 minutes in the mornings (be ready for pickup earlier) and afternoons (anticipate later drop-offs) next week, due to route adjustments, for buses 39, 43, 44, and 15, due to the planned detour around the US 287/US 83 intersection for necessary highway repairs.

Elementary parents- if your child normally rides the bus in the afternoon, we will send them on their bus unless you have called the office to confirm pick up for your child. If you need to change their afternoon pick up, please call the office at 940-937-6313 by 3:00! Thank you!
Childress ISD will observe a regular start time on Thursday, January 29. Buses will not run.

Out of an abundance of caution, classes will be dismissed at 12:30 pm, Friday, January 23rd. Buses will run at that time. This will allow students and staff enough time to make it home safely before road conditions worsen.
The decision will be made on Sunday as to whether driving conditions will be safe enough to have classes on Monday, the 26th.
