The Childress Elementary staff wants to help our families during these unusual times.
Beginning Thursday, March 26th we will be providing instructional support to allow student learning to continue at home. By doing this, we will support our students academically.
So what will that instructional support look like? Starting Thursday, we will distribute bags for each elementary student that has instructional activities.
Each students will receive a packet of websites and work for the next seven days. Packets will be available for parents to pick up on March 26th. Pick up times will be at 7:00-8:00,11:30-12:30 and 5:00-6:00. If you are unable to pick up your child’s work at these times, call Childress Elementary (940-937-6313) and leave a message with your child’s name, teacher’s name and when you can pickup your child’s work up.
We appreciate your support.
If there is any other way we can help you, please contact us.

Childress High School Parents and Students,
I hope you are finding a way to enjoy your Spring Break during this time. Beginning on Thursday, March 26, Childress High School students will begin to receive their instruction online using the Google Classroom. Students will receive an email on Wednesday, March 25 before 4pm that will explain online classroom procedures. A majority of Childress High School teachers have already been using Google Classroom, therefore, students are very familiar with this platform. If your child does not have access to devices and/or internet, they may come to school to do their work. Only four students to a room, monitored by an adult. Be rest assured that the district is continuously monitoring the situation and will make changes as needed.
