Join us at the Childress Elementary School cafeteria May 28-June 28, Monday-Thursday, 11:30am-1:00pm for FREE lunches for kids 18 years and younger! You are welcome to enjoy your meal at the school, or take it with you to go. Parent meals may be purchased for $4.75. The Friday meals will be sent home with kids who attend on Thursdays. In light of the tragic loss of one of our students, Chanson Carr, Childress Junior High 8th Grader, today in a car accident, our hearts are heavy with grief. Our deepest condolences go out to the family and friends affected by this devastating loss. We stand together as a community in support during this difficult time, offering our love, strength, and resources to all those in need of comfort and assistance. We will have counselors available on campuses Monday to offer services to students and staff. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
