Texas Schools are Underfunded
Fire alarms at Childress High School were activated this morning. Students and staff were evacuated, the fire department checked the buildings and determined that there were no issues, and classes have resumed.
Required fire drills will be conducted Wednesday, October 11, at the elementary and high school campuses.
**Edit: Drill at CHS was completed 10/10, and the drill at CES will be on 10/12 instead of 10/11.
Congratulations Clarissa Gamboa! She placed 10th at District Cross Country in Lubbock. She will advance to regionals! Clarissa has advanced to regionals all four years of high school!
