The city has repaired the water main break, and water service has been restored. We will have a regular day of school tomorrow. The district will be following all guidelines regarding the boil water notice. There will be hand sanitizer in restrooms. Please send your student to school with bottled water and we will have resources to refill them as needed.
There will be an early release of all CISD campuses today due to the water supply issues in the city. Water has been shut off due to a large water main break. You may pick up your students at this time. Buses will run at 12:45. If you are unable to ensure someone is at home to receive your child, please notify your campus immediately to make other arrangements.
On Tuesday, January 21, Childress ISD will observe a 10:00am start time, with buses running regular routes, two hours late.

The Childress Junior High basketball home games vs. Tulia scheduled for Saturday, January 11, have been moved to 1:00 and 2:00 start times (still Saturday).
**Changes to CHS Basketball Schedule**
The home games vs. Dalhart originally scheduled for Friday, January 10, have been moved to Saturday, January 11! The Lady Cats will play at 6:00 pm, and the Bobcats will take the court at 7:30 pm.
Childress ISD will observe a regular start time today, Friday, January 10, and will run IN-TOWN bus routes only.
Due to weather and travel concerns we are adjusting the basketball schedule tomorrow (1/10): Girls will begin at 3:50 with boys to follow at 5:00. These will be varsity games only.
Due to weather and caution we will be cancelling the powerlifting meet today.
The Childress Girls' Powerlifting Meet has been cancelled, due to inclement weather.
On Thursday, January 9, Childress ISD will have a REGULAR start time. Buses will run IN-TOWN ROUTES only.
Join us on Thursday at 6:00 pm at the CJHS auditorium, as our CJHS and CHS bands proudly present the sounds of the season in their Christmas Band Concert!
