IMPORTANT SCHOOL BUS INFORMATION:
The bus will NOT come to home addresses to pick up students this year. Please refer to the previous postings about school transportation for more information. Students younger than second grade will need a responsible party available at pick up at the designated stop. In order to ensure student safety, if a responsible party is unavailable for pick up at the designated stop, parent/guardian written consent must be provided in order for the student to be dismissed from the bus.
**Estelline stops will be at the square and at the students' association building on the north side of the highway. Other rural stops will not be affected by this change.**

Attention CHS students taking Clarendon College Dual Credit Classes:
The first day of class for Clarendon College is August 16, 2023. If you are taking dual credit classes next year, please check your Clarendon College Student Portal. Tuition for these classes will be due on August 24, 2023. Please call Mrs. Piper (940)937-6131 ext 4040 at the Childres High School office if you have any questions.

Childress ISD is experiencing a shortage of school bus drivers, so bus procedures will be modified for the 2023-2024 school year.
See the maps and legend to determine where the new, consolidated bus stops will be, and note updated bus numbers. In-town morning pickups will begin at 7:00, and school doors will open at 7:30. Rural routes will continue. The actual pickup schedule will become more established with time.
