The District Site Base Committee will meet in February to review the survey results from both the teacher and parent/community surveys. The committee will make a 23-24 calendar recommendation to the Board of Trustees to be voted on in the March board meeting.
Childress ISD is monitoring the weather forecast and will make public announcements concerning any schedule changes to the regular school day in a timely manner should the need arise. The safety of the students and staff at CISD, as well as the general public, is always a priority. Regional safety officials and weather professionals will be consulted before decisions are made. Those decisions will then be communicated through local/area radio and televisions stations along with CISD social media and the district website.
Due to forecasted weather this Tuesday we are moving games up. Varsity girls at 4, Varsity boys at 5:15. We will not play sub-varsity games. Big game for both teams this week. Come support our kids!!!!
