Childress ISD is experiencing a shortage of school bus drivers, so bus procedures will be modified for the 2023-2024 school year.
See the maps and legend to determine where the new, consolidated bus stops will be, and note updated bus numbers. In-town morning pickups will begin at 7:00, and school doors will open at 7:30. Rural routes will continue. The actual pickup schedule will become more established with time.
Thank you for understanding that we are doing our best to provide student transportation with very limited resources. We encourage and welcome any qualified school bus drivers to submit an application, available at www.childressisd.net.
