Childress ISD will resume classes Wednesday, March 1st.
It is encouraged that you send your child to school with bottled water. Water will be provided for those that forget to bring it.
Hand sanitizer will also be provided for use by students and staff in the event the water boil notice is still in effect.
CISD Food Service and Custodial Staff have implemented additional sanitation measures.
Reminder: Monday, April 10th will be a Make Up Day.
City & County officials have set up a water distribution center to serve the water needs of our community. The center is located on the CHS Gym parking lot & is open at 6pm Monday, February 27th.
Residents can receive a case of water or have gallon jugs/five gallon buckets filled.
Classes will be canceled Tuesday, February 28th due to the City Water Boil Notice that is still in effect.
It will be necessary to use Monday, April 10th as a makeup day.
CJHS Spring Pictures will be taken on Thursday, March 2.

Due to weather concerns and travel the varsity basketball games in Abernathy will be moved up to 2 & 3:15. There will be no JV games tomorrow.
