CHS LUNCH CHECK-OUT PROCEDURE
Students are only allowed to leave campus during lunch if a parent/guardian comes to the front door to buzz the office for students to be called out for the student to sign out, then the student will sign back in after lunch. Students who leave campus in violation of the lunch rule will be subject to disciplinary action in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct.
Childress High School will be practicing the TEA-mandated drills on the first day of school. These drills include fire, shelter for severe weather, shelter for hazardous material, secure campus, evacuation, and lockdown.

Scrimmage vs Wellington here in Childress today!!! JV starts at 5 and Varsity to follow at 6:10. Come eat watermelon and visit with the players/coaches after the scrimmage!!!

REMINDER LADYCAT volleyball two-a-days start MONDAY August 1st @6am! Athletes are required to be at the CHS gym to pick up their workout equipment. After distributing the equipment, strength conditioning workout will begin at 7 a.m.
Paperwork from the parents’ meeting packet MUST BE TURNED IN 6am (tryout form, UIL eligibility form, team rules agreement, athlete’s current physical)Athletes without their required paperwork cannot participate in UIL events or extra curriculum like the volleyball program.
